Position Summary

Tampa Family Health Centers is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our integrated Behavioral Health team.

The Psychologist will provide evidence-based outpatient behavioral health services to adult and pediatric patients through individual therapy, group interventions, clinical consultation, and care coordination.

This position works closely with primary care providers and interdisciplinary care teams to support TFHC’s integrated, patient-centered approach to behavioral healthcare.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based cognitive and behavioral therapy to adult and pediatric patients
  • Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Facilitate behavioral health classes and group interventions within primary care settings
  • Provide support for stress management, sleep concerns, chronic pain, and other behavioral health needs
  • Complete autism evaluations using ADI, ADOS, and other appropriate assessment tools
  • Consult with primary care providers regarding patient needs and provide timely follow-up on referrals
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely electronic health record documentation
  • Deliver behavioral health presentations and training to primary care and clinical staff
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical pathway programs
  • Manage a full outpatient schedule consistent with organizational productivity and patient-access expectations
  • Supervise providers in training or those not yet independently licensed, as assigned
  • Participate in meetings, committees, quality-improvement initiatives, and professional conferences
  • Consult with legal authorities when directed and in accordance with organizational requirements
  • Protect patient privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and safety
  • Comply with HIPAA, federal, state, accreditation, and TFHC requirements
Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Active and unrestricted license to practice psychology in the State of Florida
  • Current Basic Life Support certification
  • Minimum of two years of experience providing therapy services preferred
  • Experience in a community-based, primary care, or ambulatory setting preferred
  • Experience conducting autism evaluations, including ADI and ADOS, required
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team
  • Commitment to providing respectful and empathetic care to diverse patient populations
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office
