Position Summary:
The Division of Critical Care at the University ofNew Mexico School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking a PediatricIntensivist to join the clinical team. Salary and track will becommensurate with training and experience. This full-time position offers a competitive salary, and a richretirement benefit program.

The position includes patientcare responsibilities in a state of the art, 20 bed multi-disciplinaryPediatric Intensive Care Unit. Other duties include teaching residents andmedical students, a pediatric sedation service, and pediatric/neonatal ECMO.The Department of Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Division have a longtradition of providing outstanding, comprehensive care to the children of NewMexico.

• Able to obtain medical licensure(s) in the state of New Mexico.
• Board certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care by time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience and interest in quality improvement, research and teaching.
• Experience with ECMO.
• Experience with care of the pediatric surgical and trauma patient.
• A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities
