Position Summary:
Bay Area Rehabilitation Center (BARC) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will support individuals of all ages in developing the skills needed for daily living, independence, and meaningful participation in their communities. This position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact while working in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate clients’ physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Educate caregivers on strategies to support progress at home and in the community
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and program requirements
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Texas licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience with pediatric, adult, or community-based services preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with individuals with disabilities
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
