PA / Electrophysiology
SUMMARY: The Physician Assistant (PA) in Electrophysiology is responsible for the care and treatment of Baxter Health Clinic patients under the direction of a supervising physician(s). Assists designated physician(s) in performance of clinical office, procedural and other duties.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant Program
Licensure: Current Arkansas Physician Assistant license in good standing.
Experience: Previous clinic experience desired.
Certification: Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) licensed with the State of Arkansas, required.
Other: Basic computer skills required with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, EMR, Population Health portals and other database systems.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to perform the following: Must have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to solve problems and make decisions. Ability to regularly stand and walk, occasionally bend, squat and twist and occasionally requires lifting of 50 pounds or more of equipment using proper body mechanics. Able to push in excess of 150 pound wheelchair with patient and occasionally lifts patients with assist 125 pounds or more with proper body mechanics. Spends eight hours or more in front of computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing keyboard and/or mouse. Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations of CPR and obtaining equipment. Must be able to handle highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.
