We are proud to offer a warm, positive atmosphere where both children and teachers thrive. If you’re organized, flexible, and love working with little learners, we’d love to meet you! Experience is preferred, but not required — we’re happy to train the right candidate who is eager to grow in the field of early childhood education.

About the Role:

As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering the early development and learning of young children, typically aged Infant to 5 years. Your primary goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth. You will design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, physical, and language development while supporting each child's individual needs. Collaboration with parents and caregivers is essential to ensure consistent support and communication regarding each child's progress and well-being. Ultimately, your work will lay the foundation for lifelong learning and positive attitudes toward education in a diverse and inclusive setting.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
  • Familiarity with educational technology and digital tools for early childhood classrooms.
  • Additional certifications such as Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that support early childhood learning standards.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, documenting milestones and identifying areas where additional support may be needed.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive social interactions and emotional growth.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share updates on their child's development and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to plan events, maintain classroom materials, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills:

The required skills enable the Preschool Teacher to design and implement effective lesson plans that cater to the developmental stages of young children, ensuring a balanced approach to learning and play. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive educational environment. Observation and assessment skills allow the teacher to monitor each child's progress and tailor instruction to meet individual needs. Preferred skills such as familiarity with inclusive education and educational technology enhance the teacher's ability to support diverse learners and integrate modern tools into the classroom. Additionally, bilingual abilities can facilitate communication with families from varied linguistic backgrounds, promoting inclusivity and community engagement.
