Position Overview: This position in the Actuator Assembly Department must be able to assemble and test units to print specifications. This position requires the ability to evaluate, tear down, rebuild and test repair units
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work with others
- Ability to assemble and test Actuator units to print specifications, verify and record results
- Ability to evaluate, tear down, rebuild and test repair units
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to operate other machinery within the plant if required by the Supervisor
- General inspection skills
- General hydraulics knowledge
- Ability to paint
- Ability to run a saw
Qualifications:
- High School or equivalent
- Applicable math background and skills
- Blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Verbal and written communications skills
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Test stand set up experience is advantageous
- Skills in the use of precision hand tools and measuring equipment
- Skills in the use of assembly tools and test equipment

- Basic knowledge of blueprint reading.
- Must have general math skills
- Must be able to use general hand tools. (hammers, wrenches, pneumatic tools, etc.)
- Must be able to build our basic actuators. (Bromma, SS-010, 3-4 units, etc.)
- Need to be able to tear down a failed unit successfully.
- Need to be able to operate test stand properly.
