Job Title: Vehicle Patrol Officer
Location: Azusa, CA
Job Type: Full Time/ Part Time
Shift Schedule: 8-Hour Shifts/ 9pm-5am or 10pm - 6am (Night Shift Only)
Position Summary:
Blackwater Public Safety seeks highly disciplined, observant, and professional Vehicle Patrol Officers to join our elite security team. This position involves proactive patrols, deterring criminal activity, rapid response to incidents, and protecting client assets and personnel during designated nighttime hours. Our main focus is residential properties/HOAs, Commercial accounts, School Districts, & City accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-visibility, vehicle patrols on client properties and designated patrol zones.
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies professionally and lawfully.
- Prepare incident and activity reports accurately and promptly.
- Monitor and report suspicious activity, trespassing, vandalism, or violations of law or client policy.
- Maintain radio contact with dispatch and fellow officers at all times.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as Blackwater Public Safety policies.
- Engage respectfully with the public, clients, and law enforcement officials.
- Uphold the core values of integrity, service, vigilance, and professionalism.

Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education or military experience is a plus.
- Valid state-issued Guard Card License or Permit (must remain current).
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a state-approved firearm permit and demonstrate safe weapon handling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions and remaining alert throughout the shift.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be willing to work exclusively overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
