About This Position
The Blending Technician (Production Blender) supports daily manufacturing operations by measuring, staging, and blending spices according to production recipes and schedules.
This position plays an important role in maintaining product quality, traceability, and food safety in a fast-paced food manufacturing and production environment.
This is a hands-on physical role that involves lifting ingredients, measuring materials, and working on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities- Measure and weigh ingredients according to production recipes
- Read and follow blend sheets and work orders accurately
- Retrieve and stage ingredients for production batches
- Record lot numbers and production information for traceability
- Operate scales and basic production equipment
- Verify ingredients and quantities before blending
- Maintain accurate production documentation
- Follow GMP, SOP, and food safety procedures
- Maintain clean and sanitary work areas and equipment
- Assist with staging, packaging, and general production support
- Report any safety, quality, or food safety concerns
- Support production team members as needed
Required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Basic math and measurement skills
Ability to read and follow written instructions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
Team-oriented mindset
Preferred
Food manufacturing or production experience
Experience weighing ingredients or following recipes
Forklift or material handling experience
Warehouse, staging, or packaging experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
