Job Overview

Rymar Business Enterprises Inc is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to serve as the financial backbone of our growing commercial HVAC/R organization. This role is about financial discipline, strategic accuracy, and operational accountability not just processing transactions.

As a high-performance HVAC/R service company powered by our proprietary RISEGuard 360 platform, we expect the same precision in our financial operations as we do in the field. You will work directly with ownership and leadership to ensure financial reporting, job costing, and internal controls actively support and drive scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain full general ledger accuracy and overall financial integrity.

  • Financial Close: Execute detailed monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures.

  • Reconciliations: Perform accurate and timely bank and credit card reconciliations.

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee and manage all A/P and A/R functions to maintain healthy cash flow.

  • Job Costing & Margin Analysis: Conduct rigorous job costing analysis and validate gross margins to support operational decision-making.

  • Payroll Coordination: Support payroll processing and coordination using ADP or equivalent systems.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.

  • Internal Controls & Compliance: Maintain strong financial controls and ensure audit-ready documentation at all times.

  • Strategic Financial Support: Provide financial insight to leadership to support scaling operations and long-term planning.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of dedicated bookkeeping or accounting experience.

  • Strong, demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) (required).

  • Solid understanding and practical application of GAAP principles.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, reporting tools, and complex formulas.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and financial discretion.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; OR

  • Significant, proven accounting experience within a service-based, HVAC, or construction-related industry.
