Job Title: Certified Welder
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Welder to perform precision welding on structural and fabricated components. This role requires strict adherence to specifications, codes, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel and aluminum components
Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings
Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and fitting parts prior to welding
Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and defects
Maintain welding equipment and follow all safety procedures
Hard Requirements (Must-Have)
Minimum 3 years of professional welding experience
AWS D1.1 certification (or equivalent) required
Proven ability to perform MIG and TIG welding without supervision
Experience welding structural steel to code specifications
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols accurately
Must pass a welding test and safety assessment
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in hot or confined environments
Preferred (Not Required)
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Experience in manufacturing or construction environments
