IKA is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler - Process to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and rework of process equipment, following established procedures to ensure high-quality results.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and rework process equipment.
  • Follow established procedures for the assembly of process equipment.
  • Set up and operate all tools and equipment safely and properly.
  • Maintain hand tools, assembly equipment, and accessories in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
  • Perform laser and mechanical engraving of process components and labels.
  • Accurately record information on weekly time tickets, inspection documents, and other required forms.
  • Learn basic manual operation of lathes, mills, saws, and welding equipment.
  • Develop and follow procedures for assembly, welding, fabrication, grinding, and polishing of process components and finished goods.
  • Assist the machine shop and welding teams with basic deburring, cutting of materials, and equipment maintenance as needed.
  • Apply a philosophy of continual improvement in daily activities.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in assembly, troubleshooting, repair, welding, light machining, and inspection of mechanical components.
  • Skilled in safe operation and basic maintenance of hand tools and equipment.
  • Experience with assembly, testing, rework, and fabrication of process equipment.
  • Able to perform laser/mechanical engraving, grinding, and polishing of components.
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate record-keeping.
  • Organized, safety-conscious, and committed to continuous improvement.
