About the Role
Care Lending Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in the financial operations and reporting of the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and effective treasury and compliance management. The Senior Accountant will work closely with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and funding partners, while supporting the continued development of CLG’s accounting processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications & Experience
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA preferredMinimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in finance, leasing, or lending environmentsStrong knowledge of financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and audit supportExperience working with treasury functions, cash management, and compliance reportingHigh attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentExperience with leasing or loan systems (LeaseSpark an asset)Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
