A Creative Copywriter will support Senior Copywriters, ACD, and CD in developing multi-channel creative & copy that aligns with our clients’ overall brand strategies. This individual enjoys flexing their creativity and consistently levels-up the content and storytelling for a roster of primarily automotive clients
A Copywriter thrives in an agile environment, has a passion for creating their best work, possesses a can-do attitude, and is a driven self-starter.
Essential Responsibilities:
Write compelling, error-free content that aligns with client expectations and strategiesDevelop engaging, on-brand copy across a broad range of mediums, including but not limited to:Direct MailShoot-Based Scripts (From Scratch & Repurposed)Radio ScriptsEmailLive ReadsUSP/TaglinesLanding Page CopyBranded Marketing CopyCreative BrainstormingEmail CopySocial Media CopyChoose/Create Quarterly Concepts for ClientsResearch industry trends, terminology, and competitive landscape to demonstrate subject-matter expertise in your writingEnsure projects are delivered on time and in line with the clients’ brands & expectationsResponsible for coordinating props with production teamStrong communication with team, account managers, editors, and client services to ensure we hit our flight datesMake sure all scripts are submitted to pre-production on time, if applicableUtilize Workfront proficiently and keep all project statuses up-to-date Help perform the Senior Copywriter role in their absence (proof, manage out of office list)Adhere to processes and procedures set forth by the Creative Leadership TeamUnderstand & utilize Workfront to document all work and proofsCommunicate clearly and adhere to Stream’s 1-hour response policyTake direction and feedback from managementUnderstand automotive compliance guidelines and regulations on creative executionAttend monthly creative department meeting & weekly town hallQualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Media, Journalism, Newspaper, or related field 2+ years of experience in copywriting at an advertising agency, media company or high-profile brandExperience in automotive a plusSkills & Experience:
