About This Position
Summary: The Rehab Supervisor administers prescribed therapy programs to restore function, prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of body part: helps patients reach maximum performance while learning to live within their limits of his/her capabilities. Will be a working Therapist. Is responsible for the training and/or organizing the training of the therapists, therapist assistants, supportive personnel and students in their performance of patient/resident care services and treatments. Manages Therapy Student Program. Actively participate in recruiting staff. Also responsible for the corrective action process, including observing problem behavior, discussing situation(s) with Director and completing corrective action forms.
Education: In addition to the skills normally obtained through completion of high School education, a Bachelor of Science degree or Masters degree in rehab therapy from an accredited institution is required.
Licensure: Current Rehab Therapist Rhode Island licensure.
Experience: Three to five years of experience preferred with supervisory skills recommended.

Demonstrated experience in responsive customer service.
Working knowledge/competence with national standards (i.e., JCAHO, State Health Regulations, OSHA, EPA, Safety Codes, Hazardous Materials and Emergency Preparedness and Licensing Regulations).
Excellent skills in communication and collaboration.
