About This Position

Purpose

The Sr. Software Engineer performs a variety of programming assignments requiring knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing requirements. He/she is concerned with facets of the software development process. Work includes researching, designing, developing, and testing software will partake in scope definition, application design and programming and integration projects. He/she will contribute to the overview of the project on the application level rather than component-level or individual programming tasks.

Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities

  • Full Agile lifecycle application development
  • Designing, coding and debugging applications in TSQL, WPF, ASP.NET C# MVC, HTML 5.0, CSS, JSON, Windows Services
  • Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis
  • Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD)
  • Software modeling and simulation
  • Front end graphical user interface design
  • Software testing and quality assurance
  • Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability and automation
  • Integration and automation experience
  • Support, maintain and document software functionality
  • Integrate new software programs with existing systems
  • Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
  • Maintain standards compliance
  • Assist with other duties and special projects as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science
  • Five years of related experience
  • IT Hardware, Software, Platform and Systems Knowledge: C, C++, Java, .NET, Python, ADO, HTML, JavaScript, Web services, SOAP, XML, ASP, SQL Server, STL, XSLT, OWL, AJAX, NHibernate
