Maintenance Planner/CoordinatorThe Maintenance Planner/Coordinator role involves supporting all physical infrastructure and maintenance tasks within the responsibility of the Terminal Operator. As the primary contact for internal and external customers, this position provides daily support to the FM team and contractors. The role also includes monitoring the health and performance of critical Terminal Assets and managing key building systems. Additionally, this position serves as the first responder and investigator for any technical issues in the building, coordinating efforts to recover operations.
You will join a team of four Planners who rotate duties at Terminal A's operation center, covering 16 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will also work alongside maintenance contract managers, overseeing vendors and contractors and taking over small technical projects.Your Future Responsibilities
  • Establish schedules and work orders for Planned Maintenance and ensure stakeholders are informed accordingly.
  • Monitor execution, receive reports on executed PM Work Orders, and validate that information is accurately logged into the CMMS system (Maximo).
  • Ensure events/incidents are logged into the CMMS system, addressed, and resolved per SLAs using standard work order procedures.
  • Inform and collaborate with relevant stakeholders if an event requires their involvement.
  • Implement measures in response to alerts received from Facility Maintenance systems.
  • Oversee regular planned and ad-hoc inspections.
  • Monitor all KPIs and SLAs to ensure compliance.
  • Supervise subcontractors' performance in planned and reactive maintenance, coordinating with management as necessary.
  • Generate shift and daily reports as required.
  • Contribute to reporting and analysis to identify trends, suggest condition-based maintenance actions, and enhance ITOCC Operations.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all documentation related to Work Order Execution.
  • Serve as the first point of resolution whenever possible.
  • Monitor SCADA, the building management system, and other FM software statuses and take appropriate action to address faults through corrective work order management.
  • Carry out root cause analysis for recurring issues and suggest preventive measures to avoid future recurrence.
  • Assist in developing and reviewing maintenance strategies and procedures to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards from our subcontractors and external vendors during maintenance and construction activities.
  • Lead and manage emergency technical response teams during critical incidents.
Your Education & Training
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 5 years in Facilities Management and Maintenance or Technical Associate Degree with 10 years in the same field.
  • Preferably, 2 years of experience within the aviation sector within the Facilities Maintenance Organization.
  • Prior knowledge of CMMS systems such as Maximo and Building Management Systems is advantageous.
  • Good experience with HVAC systems, Building Management Systems, and other facilities maintenance software monitoring programs.

The base salary range for this role is $33.00 to $35.00 per hour. Base salary is part of our total rewards package which also includes the opportunity for annual salary increases and bonuses. Employees are eligible for them and eligible dependents to enroll in medical, dental, vision and Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) benefits as of DAY 1. Employees are also eligible for our 401(k) plan, which includes a company match, after six months of service. The employer also provides life and disability insurances and leaves provided in line with NJ and federal law. Our robust time-off policy includes paid time off and 12 paid holidays. Total compensation, including base salary to be offered, will depend on elements unique to each candidate, including candidate experience, skills, education and other factors permitted by law.
