Perfetto Enterprises Co Inc is seeking experienced Construction Laborers with a background in concrete and asphalt pavement work to support heavy civil infrastructure projects across Queens and Brooklyn. This role focuses on assisting crews with grading, concrete roadbase installation, curb and sidewalk work, and asphalt pavement operations on roadway and municipal construction sites.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working around paving crews, understands roadway preparation, and can assist with tasks such as grading, base preparation, and concrete placement. This role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist crews with grading and site preparation for roadway and paving projects

• Support installation of concrete roadbase, curbs, sidewalks, and flatwork

• Assist with asphalt pavement placement, spreading, and preparation

• Perform manual labor including shoveling, raking asphalt, and material handling

• Help establish grades and alignments using string lines, grade stakes, and measuring tools

• Prepare subgrade and aggregate base for paving operations

• Assist equipment operators during excavation, grading, and paving activities

• Maintain safe and organized work zones in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards

• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Communicate with foremen and crew members to ensure efficient jobsite coordination

• Required

  • Experience working on concrete, roadway, or asphalt paving projects

  • Familiarity with grading, roadbase preparation, and paving operations

  • Ability to use construction tools such as shovels, rakes, levels, and measuring equipment

  • Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions

  • OSHA 10 Certification or willingness to obtain

• Preferred

  • Experience with concrete curb and sidewalk installation

  • Experience working on public infrastructure or municipal roadway projects

  • Familiarity with asphalt paving crews and roadway base preparation

  • OSHA 30 Certification
