Shipping & Receiving Associate (Manufacturing) at PRECI MANUFACTURING INC – Winooski, Vermont

Overview

Preci Manufacturing is looking for a reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support our warehouse and production operations in Winooski, Vermont. In this role, you will help keep materials and products moving smoothly through our facility by handling incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

The ideal candidate has experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations and is comfortable working with inventory systems and warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming shipments by verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips
• Prepare outgoing shipments by securely packaging and accurately labeling products
• Use barcode scanners to track inventory movements and update the warehouse management system
• Load and unload trucks using a pallet jack while ensuring safe handling of materials
• Pick and stage orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficiency and safety
• Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed
• Work collaboratively with team members to improve shipping and receiving processes

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
• Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and warehouse management systems
• Experience using barcode scanners and pallet jacks
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic math skills for inventory tracking and reporting
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
