Housekeeping Supervisor in Morris, Connecticut at Winvian Farm LLC

Winvian Farm, a luxury Five-Diamond resort located in the beautiful Litchfield Hills of Connecticut, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This hands-on supervisory position works closely with the Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily operations, support and train housekeeping staff, and ensure our guest cottages and property consistently meet our luxury hospitality standards.

• Supervise, train, and support housekeeping staff to ensure exceptional cleanliness and service standards.
• Inspect guest cottages and common areas to ensure compliance with Winvian's housekeeping standards.
• Assist with daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning guest cottages and preparing rooms for guest arrivals.
• Conduct thorough room inspections and pre-arrival checks.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and inventory levels.
• Assist the Housekeeping Manager with scheduling, staff performance, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure employees follow established housekeeping procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with management and other departments to address guest needs and operational priorities.
• Assume supervisory responsibilities in the Housekeeping Manager's absence.

• Previous housekeeping experience required; 2 years of hospitality experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and commitment to teamwork.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including prolonged standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must meet Winvian Farm's company vehicle driving and insurance eligibility requirements.

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour
