SUMMER CAMP GENERAL EDUCATOR at Blandford Nature Center – Grand Rapids, Michigan

Position Summary:

Summer Camp General Educators will run with, play with, teach, hike with, and care for 10 campers each

week throughout the summer. They care for camper happiness, health, and safety for 9 weeks Monday-Friday

9:00am-4:00pm June 9th-August 15th with mandatory training occurring June 2rd-6th. This schedule entails

working 1 evening on August 7th.

To be a Summer Camp Educator you must possess, or be willing to learn, the following qualities: flexibility,

patience, playfulness, willingness to participate and get silly, compassion, and excellent listening skills.

Summer Camp Educators can have a lifelong impact on the campers that they lead. This position demands

major responsibility and commitment, but when you invest in the experience of your campers this position will
