Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL - This role will be on-site for the first 90 days, with a hybrid schedule available thereafter.

Position Summary: The Business Intelligence & IT Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining business intelligence (BI) solutions with a specific focus on labor utilization, sales analytics, and business performance. This position requires expertise in data visualization, dashboard creation, and analysis, leveraging platforms like Power BI, Blue Folder, and Paylocity. The Business Intelligence & IT Manager will collaborate with various departments to provide insights into labor efficiency, sales performance, and overall business operations while offering IT support related to data analysis, dashboard management, and technology infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

Labor Utilization Dashboards:

• Design dashboards to monitor labor utilization across platforms such as Blue Folder and Paylocity.
• Track key metrics like applied/unapplied hours, PTO, and productivity.
• Set up alerts for under or over-utilized labor resources.

Sales Analytics Dashboards:

• Build dashboards to analyze sales data by product, customer segments, timeframes, and price ranges.
• Provide insights to optimize product performance and sales strategies.

Business Performance Dashboards:

• Develop dashboards to monitor key financial and operational metrics such as sales, efficiency, and utilization.
• Compare actual performance against budgeted targets with dynamic, easily updated visualizations.

Power BI & Data Management:

• Implement best practices for Power BI and ensure data accuracy in models and dashboards.
• Automate dashboard updates using seamless data integration from platforms like Blue Folder, Xero, Cin 7, and Paylocity.
• Proficiency in APIs and SQL databases to pull and integrate data from ERP/CRM systems, enabling automated and insightful reporting.
• Train staff on dashboard use and provide progress updates to stakeholders.

IT Responsibilities:

• Oversee, order, maintain, and track all IT equipment, contracts, and services.
• Assist with ERP, SaaS, and CRM system management, upgrades, and implementations.
• Ensure integration of data from platforms such as Blue Folder, Xero, Cin 7, and Paylocity ensuring seamless connectivity and data integrity.
• Automate ETL processes to streamline data reporting and dashboard updates.
• Provide technical support to ensure system scalability and performance.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Required Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in BI development, specifically with Power BI or similar platforms.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, APIs, DAX, and data modeling.
• Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and API-based data extraction.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems like Blue Folder, Xero, and Cin 7.

Other Skills:

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and train non-technical staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the marine or manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with labor management systems and sales analytics.
• Microsoft Power BI certification or related BI tools certification.
