Schedule: Mon- Sat 7am-5pm (Flexible during peak holidays)

Reports To: Director of Warehouse Operations

Job Overview:

As a Warehouse Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and efficient

fulfillment of customer orders. You will work closely with the Logistics Director to oversee

packing operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold high standards of quality

and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

Order Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and label customer orders in accordance with company standards and procedures, ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner.

Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on products and packaging to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality standards.

Inventory Management: Assist with receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents, and updating inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).

Organization and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse, including proper storage of products, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols.

Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to warehouse associates, including training on packing procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains in packing operations and collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to implement improvements.

Communication: Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors, team members, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of any issues or concerns.

Customer Service: Support the customer service team by providing accurate and timely information regarding order status, inventory availability, and shipping updates as needed.

Compliance: Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements related to shipping, handling, and storage of products.

Qualifications:

2 years of experience in warehouse operations, packing, or a related field.

2 years of management experience in warehouse operations with a team of 3 or more

HS Diploma or GED

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packing orders.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management software.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Prior experience in the quilting industry or a similar e-commerce environment is a plus.
