Job Summary
Cleans and maintains a wide variety of floors using specialized professional cleaning methods appropriate to the situation. Job Responsibilities
- Identifies and maintains floor care projects.
- Completes such specialized cleaning tasks as floor stripping and waxing, floor buffing, and heavy duty carpet cleaning, etc.
- Works around harsh chemicals, strippers, wax, baseboard cleaners, etc.
- Removes trash from various departments and dispose of them in appropriate areas.
- May clean, stock, sweep, mop, sanitize or vacuum offices, public areas, hallways, stairs, lobbies, closets, copy rooms or other work areas as assigned.
- May assist in housekeeping.
- High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher required upon hire
- A minimum of 1 year relevant experience required
- No licensure/certification/registration required
- Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgement.
- Works under minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
