Respiratory Therapist in Wellsville, New York at Jones Memorial Hospital

Jones Memorial Hospital is seeking a per diem Respiratory Therapist to perform Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) for both adult and pediatric patients Monday through Thursday. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for conducting, documenting, and ensuring the quality of diagnostic pulmonary testing, while providing excellent patient care and education.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

High school graduation or equivalency required. Completion of approved associates degree program in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor Degree preferred), or another degree program in Respiratory Therapy determined by NYS Education Dept to be equivalent. Current New York State License & Registration, completion of National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) exam for Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), plus registry exam (RRT, written and simulation exams). Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
