Child Care Assistant in Keene, New Hampshire at Cheshire Medical Center

Child Care Assistants help to create a warm, caring and safe environment to support children and teachers in ways that improve the overall quality of care and education.

Position Requirements: High School diploma or GED or currently enrolled in a High School Program, three credits in ECE (Child growth and Development), preferred, and must be at least 16 years of age, required. Specific skills and knowledge needed are: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals, write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization, add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers. Licenses/ Certifications: Complete 18 hours of in-service professional development every 12 month period (as per NH Child Care program Licensing Rules).
