ACCOUNTANT:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-driven Accountant to support the monthly financial reporting process for 10–12 senior living communities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, enjoys digging into the numbers, and wants to manage the full scope of financial statement preparation from start to finish. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and meaningful financial reporting that supports operational leaders and organizational decision-making.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
· Prepare monthly financial packages for assigned communities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
· Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation.
· Calculate, prepare, and enter monthly accruals.
· Process payroll general ledger imports and validate accuracy.
· Track and report capital expenditures, ensuring proper classification and documentation.
· Complete variance analysis for actuals vs. prior month and budget, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities.
· Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to resolve discrepancies or questions.
· Partner with community and regional leaders to explain financial results and support operational understanding.
· Maintain compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and month-end deadlines.
Qualifications, Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
· 1–3 years of accounting experience; experience with multi-entity or multi-location environments is a plus.
· Experience with preparing financial statements, journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis is required.
· Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
· Proficiency with accounting software and Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights.
· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
· Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
