We seek an experienced and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team at our outpatient mental health clinic in Tempe, Arizona, which offers face-to-face and virtual services. This position will include

50% detox inpatient care and 50% outpatient. The ideal candidate will be dependable, punctual, and able to communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, and other healthcare. This job will consist of 50% detox inpatient care and 50% outpatient visits.

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
• Prescribe and manage medications, including monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
• Offer patient education and counseling to promote mental health and wellness.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) effectively for patient management.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
• Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.
• Provide virtual telehealth services as needed, ensuring high-quality care and confidentiality.
• Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Call coverage 1 to 2 weeks a month.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid PMHNP license in the state of Arizona
• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric-Mental Health.
• Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Experience in an outpatient mental health setting is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR Valant) systems.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional in all interactions.
