Housekeeper in Rifle, Colorado at Grand River Health

*This is an AS NEEDED position*

BASIC FUNCTION: Works to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides daily cleaning and replenishing of supplies to patient and resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, exam rooms and other areas of the Hospital or Clinics as assigned in accordance with standard cleaning procedures and GRHD safety measures.
• Must wear proper PPE as needed.
• Maintains housekeeping closets and supplies.
• Maintains a daily facility care schedule and ensures a safe and sanitary environment.
• Operates commercial vacuums, sweepers, trash/utility carts.
• Moves equipment and furniture as needed to perform duties.
• May be required to cross train with other members of the Environmental Services team.
• Transports cleaning equipment and laundry.
• Floor Care duties include performing daily scheduled floor care to prevent the spread and growth of harmful bacteria in the hospital and to maintain a safe, clean and attractive environment.
• Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A valid driver’s license and clean DMV record is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one-year floor care experience preferred.

SALARY INFORMATION:

• $15.50 - $21.00 Dependent on experience may vary outside this range
• Additional $2.00 - $4.00 an hour for additional weekend and night shifts
• 10% differential in addition to base rate salary
