Job Description
Administrative Assistant II - Respiratory Care
Description:
Ability to do data entry, schedule appointments, enter charges, and support daily administrative needs of the department
Good visual acuity
Considerable amount of sitting, stooping, and some lifting necessary
Good memory for details
The ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Prioritization and coordination of operations of the respiratory care and pulmonary lab services office, exhibiting good operational skills and responsibility
Demonstrates effectiveness in using machines and equipment
Demonstrates the ability to accurately gather, compile and distribute, date, meeting deadlines
Demonstrates ability for data control which contributes directly to the collection of revenue and cost containment
Assumes responsibility for hospital requirements and professionalism
Demonstrates the ability to coordinate various schedules of appointments for both patients and staff
Assumes responsibility for maintaining strict confidentiality for both patients and staff
Assumes responsibility for proposed activities according to hospital and departmental policies
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED Experience
