Contract Specialist at Multiple Listing Service, Inc. (DBA Metro MLS) – Wauwatosa, Wisconsin

We are seeking a motivated Contract Specialist to support the review and administration of Metro MLS data feed (licensing) application and agreements. This role is ideal for someone building experience in contract management, legal operations, or real estate technology – and who is comfortable working with structured processes and detailed documentation.

The Contract Specialist will assist with agreements governing the access, licensing, and use of Metro MLS data, while ensuring alignment with Metro MLS rules, data policies, contractual obligations, and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a point of contact for routine questions (via phone and email) from members, third-party technology consultants/vendors, and internal teams regarding contract issues.
• Assist with reviewing and processing MLS data feed agreements, including IDX, VOW, BBO, and syndication contracts.
• Support contract lifecycle management (CLM) activities such as intake, review, execution, renewals, amendments, notices, auditing, and recordkeeping.
• Coordinate with internal teams (billing, operations, and membership) to route contracts for review and approval.
• Maintain organized and accurate contract records in our CLM system (ContractSafe).

Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in contract administration, legal operations, compliance, or a related role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using a CLM system and DocuSign is preferred but not required.
• Degree in legal studies, business administration, real estate, or a related field - is preferred but not required.
• Exposure to data licensing, technology contracts, or real estate agreements - is preferred but not required.

Additional Details

• This a part-time role (approximately 16 hours per week) and benefits are not included.
