Database Engineer - Postgres at HDFC Credila Financial Services Limited – Mumbai, Mahārāshtra

We are seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Amazon RDS and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and performance monitoring of cloud-hosted databases. A working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database is a plus and will be considered beneficial. Key roles and responsibilities Experience : 6-7 yrs ü Administer, monitor, and optimize AWS RDS databases with a focus on PostgreSQL.ü Manage database backups, restores, and disaster recovery strategies.ü Perform routine maintenance tasks including upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.ü Ensure high availability and security of database systems.ü Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and performance bottlenecks.ü Collaborate with application developers and DevOps teams to support database-related needs.ü Automate repetitive tasks using scripts or AWS tools.ü Maintain documentation of database configurations and procedures..
