Property Manager – Bilingual Affordable Housing
We are seeking a dedicated and bilingual Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our affordable housing community. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on residents' lives while ensuring the efficient management of property assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, along with a passion for community development and affordable housing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the affordable housing property, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance coordination
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local housing regulations, including HUD and Fair Housing laws
- Conduct property inspections and oversee maintenance and repairs to maintain property standards
- Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and rent roll documentation
- Develop and implement resident retention and engagement programs
- Collaborate with property owners, vendors, and community partners to support property goals
- Maintain accurate records of resident files, lease agreements, and compliance documentation
Requirements:Skills and Qualifications:
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required
- Proven experience in property management, preferably in affordable housing settings
- Strong knowledge of housing regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
