Nature and Scope of Position (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):Support and incorporate the Cooperative’s Mission, Vision and Values in professional behavior and decisions. Comply with all Cooperative policies, procedures, goals and objectives and meet attendance and punctuality guidelines.Understand, observe and enforce cooperative safety and security procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions to department supervisor and/or safety department personnel. Test, monitor, and maintain cathodic protection on company pipelines and facilities per USDOT and PUCO regulations.Monitor pipelines and facilities for internal and atmospheric corrosion. Perform required remediation on Cooperative facilities and oversee remediation when performed by company or contract crews.Repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform other predictive and preventative maintenance tasks on cathodic protection systems and associated equipment and devices (rectifiers, test stations, ground beds, critical bonds, foreign line crossings, cased crossing, surveys, etc.).Monitor electrical isolation of facilities and take corrective action as needed.Support management, co-workers, vendors, and contractors in all aspects of corrosion control activities related to Cooperative facilities.
- Maintain required documentation and paperwork for USDOT compliance and company records.

- Education and Experience: High school diploma required. 5 or more years’ experience in corrosion control for a natural gas utility, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training. NACE CP 1 Certification preferred. Previous knowledge of electronic controls, telemetry, business management, and Microsoft Office products a plus.
