Security Supervisor at Grace Adventures – Mears, Michigan

Grace Adventures Ministries is a religious organization that makes employment decisions on Bible based beliefs and practices. Dunes Harbor Family Camp is a campus ministry of Grace Adventures Ministries.

SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Security Supervisor is the primary leader of the Security area at Dunes Harbor Family Camp during night operations. This role serves as a key bridge between the Security Team Members, the MoD, and the Director.

The Security Supervisor is responsible to help fulfill the mission of Grace Adventures by overseeing the team, systems, and guest experience related to safety, order, and after-hours operations. This role exists to provide a physically and emotionally safe, Christ-centered environment for guests and staff through relational enforcement of policies, visible presence, and calm leadership. The Security Supervisor models servant leadership and provides mentorship, discipleship, and support to those under their supervision while contributing to campground-wide leadership.

Security at Dunes Harbor is a guest-focused role. Enforcement is done with kindness, grace, and de-escalation, creating a calm, approachable presence while maintaining clear standards of safety and conduct.

ASSUMPTIONS:

1. This is a leadership role in a hospitality environment, requiring flexibility in schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and peak seasons. All Supervisors will work weekends on a rotation as assigned by the Dunes Harbor Director.
2. Work is performed in an outdoor, active, and guest-facing environment with changing weather and physical demands.
3. Honest and Accurate in dealing with resources and reporting
4. Ability to work effectively with other staff and volunteers in areas of responsibility.
5. A supportive attitude to the needs of staff, guests, and the organization's goals.
6. Security coverage is focused on evening and overnight operations. This role requires working afternoon to early morning such as but not limited to, 5pm to 2am.

Minimum age: 21

12.Good health and stamina are required to implement campground operations. This will involve long hours and lifting at times.

13. Must have graduated highschool

14. Must possess a valid driver’s license to operate golf carts and light equipment.

PREFFERED (Not required):

1.CPR/ First Aid certification
