Tucked downstairs in The Lodge, The Bunker Bar is Bandon Dunes' premier late-night destination — an intimate, almost confidential setting where guests unwind with the finest cigars and spirits on property. With pool tables, sports on TV, and a welcoming atmosphere that stays lively well into the evening, the Bunker Bar is legendary among resort guests and a favorite topic of post-round conversation.
As a Bartender at The Bunker Bar, you'll be at the heart of that experience — the person guests turn to after a long day on the links for a perfectly poured Scotch, a craft cocktail, or a cold beer shared over a game of billiards. If these walls could talk, they'd have some stories to tell — and you'll be the one helping write the next chapter. This isn't your average bar shift. It's a front-row seat to world-class golf culture, where the stories flow as freely as the spirits.
Please note: Applicants must be at least 21 years old, as this position involves serving alcohol. This position begins at 6 pm and ends around 1:30 am.

Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes' six distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses, which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States, according to Golf Digest. The resort is also home to two 'Courses with a Mission': Bandon Preserve, an award-winning par-3 course, and Shorty's, which opened in 2024. All net proceeds from both courses fund the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation, supporting communities along the South Coast of Oregon.

- Prepare for opening/Shift changes and/or closing according to Company procedures including cleaning, inspection for adequate supplies, procuring additional supplies as necessary, and preparing garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
- Greet guests as they enter the bar area.
- Mix, prepare and serve drinks according to approved recipes.
- Collect checks/payment for drinks served.
- Report complaints to a manager as soon as they occur.
- Maintain and cleans bar equipment.
- Maintain records of liquors, beers, wine, tobacco and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained at all times.
- Maintain daily inventory and records showing which drinks and liquors are in the greatest demand. Assure the efficient and timely submission of all required reports.
- Clean and lock-up according to Company procedures
- Perform mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Retrieve, read and interpret information from technical sources
- Operate in accordance with OLCC and Company guidelines.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- 1 year bartending experience preferred.
- Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
- Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
- Must have the ability to:
- Read, write and communicate verbally in English with other Staff Members and/or Customers
- Give and/or follow verbal and written instructions
- Visually inspect all work areas, food service
- Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for up to 5 hours at a time
- Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally with assistance, 30 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly
