About This Position
- Per Diem Opening, mainly covering after-hours shifts
- The ideal candidate will be willing to work 1 evening shift/week and 1 Saturday/month, as well as occasional daytime shifts
- Weekday, Weekend and Evening Hours available
- Our pier diem clinicians support local clinics by filling in for other clinicians while they are on leave or on PTO, allowing them to enjoy the work-life balance that our clinicians have come to appreciate

Requirements:
- M.D. or D.O. degree required
- Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA approved post-graduate residency in Pediatrics
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of California, or ability to obtain
- Current, unrestricted California DEA license, or ability to obtain
- Current Board Certification or ability to be certified within five years of beginning employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
- Where applicable for rounding, candidates are expected to meet all requirements in order to obtain medical staff membership and required privileges, including Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
The expected base salary range for this position is $125/hour. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Pediatric Associates offers are based on several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s education, work experience, and certifications, all of which are dependent on the requirements of the specific role.
