Position Overview
At True North Fleet Services, in partnership with one of our trusted operators, Big Rig Body Shop, are looking for a Body Technician who takes pride in craftsmanship, precision, and quality work.
This role supports fleet uptime and appearance through high-quality collision repair, refinishing, and structural work on heavy-duty equipment.
If you’re a hands-on technician who values consistency, independence, and doing the job right the first time, this is a strong opportunity to build a long-term career in a shop that respects your skillset.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform body repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
• Complete prep, paint, welding, fiberglass, and frame repair work
• Assess damage and take ownership of repairs from start to finish
• Ensure all work meets high-quality and safety standards
• Maintain consistency in finish, alignment, and structural integrity
• Accurately document repairs and work completed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Collaborate with shop leadership and team members to ensure workflow efficiency

Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in body repair, collision, or refinishing (heavy-duty preferred)
• Strong skills in painting, prepping, welding, fiberglass, and frame correction
• Ability to assess damage and execute repairs independently
• Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment
• Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus, not required)
