About This Position
About Us:
FirstLight Home Care of Dothan is a growing home care agency focused on providing high-quality care while building a strong, reliable caregiver team. Our success depends on hiring great caregivers quickly and keeping our operations running smoothly.
The Role:
This is a high-volume, fast-paced role that sits at the center of our hiring and daily operations.
You will be on the phone a large portion of the day—answering calls, calling candidates, and scheduling interviews. You will also be responsible for keeping systems accurate and organized, where attention to detail is critical.
This is not a passive front desk role. This is an execution-heavy position where productivity, urgency, and follow-through matter.
Schedule & Compensation:
Standard schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (in-office)
Performance-based bonus available after 90 days of employment, tied to recruiting production and interview scheduling goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Answer and route incoming calls professionally and efficiently
- Make a high volume of outbound calls to caregiver candidates daily
- Schedule interviews for the Hiring Manager
- Target: 30 interviews scheduled per week
- Follow up consistently with applicants to keep the pipeline moving
- Monitor caregiver notes, clock-ins/outs, and internal messaging systems
- Print, scan, copy, and upload documents into company systems
- Maintain accurate and organized records at all times
- Assist with LTC paperwork and administrative documentation
- Support daily office operations and team needs
Field Support (As Needed):
- Provide caregiver shift coverage when absolutely necessary (last resort)
- What Success Looks Like
- Interview schedules are consistently full and on track (30+ per week)
- Calls are handled quickly, professionally, and confidently
- Candidate follow-up is consistent—no one falls through the cracks
- Office systems are clean, accurate, and up to date
- Tasks are completed without reminders or follow-up

- This is an in-office position (not remote)
- Standard hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- This is a high-activity role, not a slow-paced front desk job
- You will be expected to manage multiple priorities throughout the day
- Caregiver shifts are only required in rare, last-resort situations
