Senior Financial Analyst
Department: Finance, Corporate
Location: Itasca, IL - Hybrid
Type: Full-time
Summary:
This role will gather, develop, interpret, and present financial information across all divisions and leadership levels in the global Prinova organization. Position will create complex financial models for predicting sales, margins, expenses, and other key performance metrics. This role will need to explain financial variances to budget, prior year, and forecasts on a periodic basis. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and 5-year plan across the global organization, which includes: sales, gross profit, expense line items, headcount, cap ex, etc.
  • Support senior staff and executive team with special or ad-hoc projects as requested
  • Develop and maintain analysis and models for use by senior management in reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance and comparisons to budget/forecast/prior year
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly management reports and KPI's that track the financial and operational performance of the organization
  • Work closely with Accounting on the timely completion of the monthly close processes
  • Provide insights into financial risks and opportunities, recommending actionable steps
  • This role involves adhering to very tight timelines, partnering with key stakeholders and departments, rationalizing and challenging results, utilizing strong analytical skills, and having access to sensitive information
  • Other duties may be assigned
  • This position will assist with any training and oversight of Rotational Analysts or Interns that come through the FP&A Department
Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience
  • CPA or MBA a plus, but not required
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including senior executives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, x-lookups)
  • PowerBI experience preferred
  • OneStream experience preferred
  • JD Edwards experience preferred
Travel: Some travel may be required as needed, but not on a regular basis.
