About This Position

Director, Product Management

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Product Management in United States.

This role offers a unique opportunity to define and drive the strategy and roadmap for a next-generation Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution in complex enterprise environments. You will lead the development of innovative product capabilities, integrating PAM with broader identity and access management systems to enable secure, zero-trust workflows for high-value accounts and hybrid cloud infrastructures. The position combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, requiring cross-functional collaboration with engineering, architecture, sales, and customer success teams. You will engage with enterprise security leaders to translate real-world needs into actionable product features and deliver measurable impact on customer security posture. This role also provides a platform for thought leadership in AI agent and non-human identity management, shaping the evolution of PAM in rapidly growing markets. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are critical for success in this high-visibility, high-impact role.

Accountabilities:
  • Own end-to-end product strategy and multi-year roadmap for PAM solutions focused on global enterprise and regulated customers
  • Define and evolve PAM capabilities, including credential vaulting, session management, just-in-time and just-enough access, approvals, auditing, and compliance
  • Integrate PAM with broader identity platform components to deliver cohesive Zero Trust workflows
  • Engage directly with CISOs, security architects, developers, and operations teams to capture enterprise requirements and use cases
  • Monitor competitive and adjacent markets, including IAM, IGA, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps tools, to ensure differentiation
  • Translate strategy into actionable product requirements, narratives, and user stories for engineering teams
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to define GTM strategy, support strategic deals, and track key success metrics
  • Mentor and guide other PMs, fostering a culture of customer-backed, data-informed decision-making

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of product management experience in enterprise B2B software, with significant exposure to identity and access management
  • Direct product ownership in Privileged Access Management or related domains (e.g., privileged session management, credential vaulting, PAMaaS)
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct reports, aligning multiple teams around common outcomes
  • Strong understanding of PAM concepts, Zero Standing Privileges, just-in-time access, session monitoring, approvals, secrets management, and compliance
  • Solid grounding in identity and security fundamentals, including authentication, authorization, policy models, directories, and enterprise infrastructure targets
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), developer tools, and technologies (SSH, RDP, Kubernetes, databases)
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with experience presenting strategy and roadmap to executives and strategic customers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field; advanced degree preferred

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $173,000–$248,000 USD, with final compensation based on skills and experience
  • Generous PTO and holiday schedule, flexible work arrangements
  • Parental leave and progressive healthcare options
  • Retirement programs and education reimbursement opportunities
  • Commuter offset (where applicable)
  • Career growth opportunities, mentorship, and leadership visibility
  • Inclusive and collaborative culture with global volunteering and team events
