MED TECHNOLOGIST - BLOOD BANK at Aultman Health Foundation – CANTON, Ohio

Bachelor of Science degree, including twelve month training in an approved program for Medical Laboratory Science, with certification in Medical Technology or Bachelor of Science degree with registry in relevant specialty by a certifying agency.

Under supervision, the technologist will be required to perform a variety of routine and complex blood bank tests using approved laboratory procedures, instrumentation and equipment. The tech will be required to exercise professional judgment in order to recognize, prioritize, and facilitate varying test requests and workload in an efficient manner. He/she will assume responsibility and accountability for accuracy of procedures performed.
