Are you an experienced Microsoft Purview expert who has worked in legal tech consulting for at least three years? Are you interested in consulting with the most prestigious law firms, working on the industry’s most complex and interesting technical projects, and leading solution delivery for Microsoft Purview? This position will be pivotal in the foundation and growth for our IG (Information Governance) practice.

The ideal candidate will be experienced working in Purview with large global law firms. We are looking for someone who is deeply familiar with Purview but also wants to dig deep and lead implementations of Microsoft products. You will be the chief Purview expert at eSentio, joining a team of IG experts each with our own specialties, and a shared focus on continual learning and teamwork.

🔍 What You’ll Do:

• Consult with law firms on Microsoft Purview policies, procedures and workflows.
• Support the business development and sales process with your expert SME knowledge and pre-sales positioning for Microsoft Purview.
• Implement Purview and other Microsoft solutions in conjunction with eSentio technical team members.
• Develop thought leadership content on Microsoft Purview and related technologies.
• Work closely with Microsoft to stay abreast of product changes and roadmap, and to support clients during projects.
• Assist in the preparation of Microsoft oriented proposals, project implementation plans and presentations prior to sale.
• Ensure client satisfaction with assigned projects, in conjunction with the project management team and leadership.
• Network with law firm IT and Risk staff to support the business development process.
• Obtain (and keep updated) certifications for relevant Microsoft technologies such as Purview, Copilot and Fabric.

✅ What You Bring:

• Microsoft Purview SME with 3+ years of dedicated experience at a law firm or as an advisory consultant.
• 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects in parallel.
• 2+ years of legal vertical consulting experience (AMLAW 200)
• 2+ years of pre-sales experience and swagger. Must understand buyer profiles, what matters at the operational level of firms, how to speak in the client voice (versus internal voice), and support the sales process.
• Strong business process analysis skills, understanding how IT and Risk teams work at law firms, and how law firms are structured and work culturally.
• Credibility w/ Purview (proven track record of client delivery/execution success) was a law firm, or as an advisory consultant.
• Relationships with Microsoft, and knowledge of how they work with partners before and after sale.
• Experience with billing hours, tracking time, and managing a billable hour quota.
• Up to date certifications in Microsoft Purview certifications. Other Microsoft certifications such involving Copilot, Fabric, etc. are also desirable.
• Flexible living locations in the US.
