Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a passion for culinary arts, attention to detail, and the ability to contribute to a high-quality dining experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing menu items according to specifications, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with precision and consistency, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
• Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation for daily service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Support catering events and special functions as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management

Skills

• Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant or catering kitchens
• Strong culinary skills, including knife skills and meal preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
• Familiarity with food service operations, including serving and food prep for large groups or events
