A structural metal fabrication facility in the Sanford, NC area is hiring a Machine Operator for 1st shift. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $19.00-$22.00/hour depending on experience, Monday through Friday.

You will be running production equipment in a shop environment, including Angle Line, Voortman, Burn Table, and punch machines. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings and keep production output on spec. If you have machine operation experience in metal fabrication, this is a strong opportunity with a path to permanent employment.

• Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour, paid weekly via direct deposit
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Operate Angle Line, Voortman, Burn Table, and punch machines to production spec
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to set up and run production
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and output
• Conduct routine inspections and flag maintenance issues before they become downtime
• Work with the production team to hit daily goals and deadlines
• Follow all safety protocols and shop standards

• Experience operating machines in a metal fabrication environment
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift

• Hands-on experience with Angle Line, Voortman, Burn Table, or punch equipment
• Background in structural steel or heavy metal fabrication
