Overview
We have an immediate need for an Estimator or Sr. Estimator to join the Design & Construction Team. The client for this project is the NYS Office of General Services (OGS) in the Comstock, NY

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Edison, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Review of orders on contract for contract/procedural compliance
- Manage all orders on contract for projects within the Division of Construction - Region 5
- Estimate and negotiate orders on contract with contractors in accordance with the contract
--Assist with the review of project claims when requested
- Develop cost estimates for project teams
Qualifications
For Estimator:
- Shall possess, at a minimum, four (4) years of experience respectively, in cost estimating, including the cost preparation/review of architectural, mechanical, electrical systems/components of building construction projects, along with the review/negotiation of cost proposals.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field, or associates degree with 2 years of construction estimating experience
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with construction estimating software - i.e. Means CostWorksFor Sr. Estimator:
- Shall possess, at a minimum, six (6) years of experience respectively, in cost estimating, including the cost preparation/review of architectural, mechanical, electrical systems/components of building construction projects, along with the review/negotiation of cost proposals.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field with two (2) years of construction estimating experience, OR associates degree with four (4) years of construction estimating experience
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with construction estimating software - i.e. Means CostWorks- OSHA 10

- Compensation: Min $80,000 - $115,000
- The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position.
