Kona Kai San Diego Resort is a boutique urban resort located on Shelter Island. With 170 guestrooms, Kona Kai Resort is home to Vessel Restaurant + Bar, SpaTerre, a marina and a private club, all located just minutes from downtown San Diego. We are excited to welcome a new Seasonal Busser/Food Runner to our island-inspired resort. Someone who wants to be part of the Kona Kai culture, to stay a while and serve with a purpose. THE JOB:

We are looking for positive, hard-working, self-motivated individuals to join our fantastic team and assist us in making things better.

This role will report to: F&B Manager, Restaurant General Manager & Executive Chef

YOU:

As a Food Runner/Busser at Vessel Restaurant + Bar, you’ll help set the pace for an exceptional dining experience. You will work alongside our kitchen and wait staff to deliver dishes promptly, clear tables efficiently, and keep our dining space looking its best. Your attention to detail and team-focused attitude will ensure every guest feels well cared for from the first bite to the last.

Qualifications:

• Previous food expeditor or similar entry-level role in a restaurant
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Positive, upbeat personality works well on a team, desire to learn, and able to multi-task
• Hours will vary-- flexible schedule required
• Attention to details
• Food Handler's Card

• Pay Rate of $20.75 per hour
• Overtime rate of $31.13 per hour
