Division 8 Multi-Family Estimator / Project Manager at L.K.L. Associates, Inc. – West Jordan, Utah

LKL Associates is looking for an experienced Division 8 Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing Door Shop team. This position focuses on estimating and/or managing multi-family projects.

We are seeking someone with strong knowledge of Division 8 materials – such as hollow-metal frames & doors, commercial wood doors, pre-hung hollow core wood doors & jambs, and door hardware – who can help support the division’s continued growth and increased bidding activity. This role will play a key part in expanding LKL's Door Shop Division by helping win and successfully deliver commercial projects across the region.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates for the doors, frames, and hardware (Division 8) scope of work on multi-family construction projects
• Review architectural plans and specifications
• Use Comsense/Enterprise for takeoffs and managing estimates/projects
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for quotes on materials
• Manage awarded projects from start to finish, including scheduling, ordering materials, coordinating deliveries, and installation
• Communicate with general contractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Track project costs and maintain organized project documentation
• Assist with bidding strategy and identifying new project opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience estimating and managing Division 8 projects
• Background & experience in multi-family construction
• Strong ability to read construction drawings and specifications
• Door industry product-based knowledge (manufacturers, grades, functions, codes)
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience with the Division 8 management software Comsense (Enterprise & Advantage)
• Existing relationships with Division 8 manufacturers and suppliers
• Prior experience working with general contractors in multi-family construction
