Commercial Driver at ARMEN FREIGHT SERVICES INC. – ELIZABETHPORT, New Jersey

Position Description: Armen Transportation is a well-established Trucking and Warehousing company seeking reliable and hardworking Class A Drivers to join our growing team. We specialize in container work from the Port of NJ/NY and local/tri-state deliveries.
Responsibilities - Pick up and deliver containers to/from the Port of NJ/NY - Complete local and tri-state deliveries - Communicate with Dispatch and update route progress via tablet or mobile app - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety - Accurately complete Hours of Service (HOS) and maintain full compliance with DOT regulations - Report any mechanical or safety issues promptly
Requirements - TWIC Card (Required) - Valid Class A CDL (Standard Shift required) - Minimum 2 years CDL-A experience (Required) - NJ/NY Port Experience (Required) - Strong knowledge of HOS logging and DOT compliance - Hazmat Endorsement (Preferred) - Ability to commute or relocate to Elizabeth, NJ prior to starting
