We are seeking a Logistics Facilities Maintenance Technician Associate to support daily operations within our logistics facility. The primary responsibility of this role is building boxes from pallets and supporting operational line needs.
This position requires hands-on work using power tools, accurate measuring with a ruler, and performing basic math calculations without the use of a calculator or cellphone. The technician will be responsible for ensuring boxes are built correctly, consistently, and efficiently to meet operational demands.
No prior HVAC, plumbing, or advanced facilities maintenance experience is required. Instead, we are looking for individuals who are reliable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with tools in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Build boxes from pallets using power tools (saws, nail guns, etc.)
- Measure and cut materials accurately using a ruler or tape measure
- Perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, measurements) without using a calculator or cellphone
- Maintain a steady supply of completed boxes to support operational lines
- Move pallets, boxes, and materials using carts or mobile equipment
- Assist with line support tasks such as trash removal, cleanup, and material handling
- Inspect finished boxes to ensure quality, consistency, and proper dimensions
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Follow all safety procedures when using tools and equipment
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
- Start your shift by checking in with your team and reviewing production needs for the night
- Gather pallets, tools, and materials needed for box building
- Measure, cut, and assemble boxes using power tools, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Perform basic math and measurements to make sure each box meets required dimensions
- Keep a steady flow of completed boxes ready for operational lines
- Move finished boxes and materials as needed to support production
- Jump in to assist with line support tasks like trash runs, cleanup, and material handling
- Inspect your work throughout the shift to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Keep your workspace clean and organized
- Wrap up your shift by cleaning your area and preparing for the next team
- Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable using tools and working with hands

- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, measurements) without reliance on a calculator
- Ability to read and use a ruler or tape measure accurately
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or logistics environment
- Experience using power tools such as saws or nail guns
- Familiarity with general material handling or pallet work
- Basic computer skills for tracking work or entering data if needed
- Willingness to work the assigned overnight schedule (Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM)
