Cardiovascular Technologist at Holyoke Medical Center – Holyoke, Massachusetts

Position Summary:

Provides assistance to physicians with special radiologic and invasive procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory and other departments as assigned, consistent with the hospitals' mission statement, in compliance with the policies and procedures of the department and hospital, and based on standards of care and operation of the department and hospital, and based on standards of care and operation of a cardiac catheterization laboratory.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology or cardiopulmonary technology

Licenses/ Registrations: Current license within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; current certifications in CPR/BCLS, successful completion of dysrhythmia interpretation course or challenge exam; Intra-aortic balloon pump certified (within first three months of employment)

Experience: Three years’ experience in special procedures, radiographic imaging or equivalent required; experience in surgical techniques required; two years’ experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory preferred
